The Cincinnati boxing fans responded over 4000 strong for 3 The Hard Way at the U.S Bank Arena. In the main event Ricardo Williams (15-2-0) 8KO’S defeated Harrison Cuello (18-9-2) 14 KO’s. Williams is on an undefeated 5-0 streak since his comeback to boxing a year ago. Rashad Holloway 10-1-0 5Ko’s defeated Doel Carrasquillo 12-11-1 1Ko’s by decision. Rau’ Shee Warren defeated Derrick Moss by decision in an Amateur bout. Cincinnati Featherweight Jesse Carridine (pictured above) (3-0-0) 2KO’s defeated Ramon Santos in round 2 in Santos pro debut.
David Long (6-1-1-) 3 KO’s faced Kelsey Arnold 1-1-1(1KO) in four rounds of heavyweight action which resulted in a draw. The Saturday night event was promoted by TMAX Events and TKO Boxing Promotions.

U.S Bank Arena March 21st

TKO Boxing and TMAX events Presents 3 the Hard Way on March 21st 2009 at the U.S. Bank Arena. The Hometown Heroes of Cincinnati Boxing are back as the main event features Ricardo Williams (14-2-0 7 KO’s) going up against Harrison Cuello (18-8-2 14KO’s). Cuelllo is coming from the Bronx New York for eight rounds of welterweight action. Cincinnati fighter Rashad Holloway (9-1-0 5KO’s) faces Doel Carrasquillo in a six round Junior Middleweight bout. For the second weekend in a row, the Cincinnati fans will get to see the two time Olympian Rau’ shee Warren in action. Warren takes on Derrick Moss from Cleveland. Before turning to the Professional ranks, Warren is destined to make history as the only U.S. athlete to make a third trip to the U.S Olympics.

Other local fighters scheduled to appear will be Ron Siler making his pro-debut, David (Dae Dae) Long, undefeated Cincinnati fighters Mel Crossty, and Jesse Carradine, and a local favorite Ravae Springs. Deontay Wilder Victoriuos over Richard "Big Fella" Green

Deontay Wilder raises his hand in victory after a win over Richard Green Jr. in the main event at The Reunion. Richard “Big Fella, head Swella” Green was unable to start round 2 due to a possible broken hand. The first round provided a nice exchange of hard hitting action from both fighters. Wilder had the size and reach on Green, while the Big Fella Green is known for his power punches. Green was in serious pain as the ring side doctors cut the tape from the hands after the fight. Meanwhile the 6’7 Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder seems to be on the road to superstardom. Wilder was the only member of the Olympic team to win a medal in 2008. He is managed by Shelly Finkel and Jay Deas, Promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, and has signed a Deal with Everlast as his sponsor.
In the Co- main event Adrian “The Problem” Broner(7-0-1) defeated Eric Ricker(1-2- 1) by decision in a six round bout. The fight was a rematch from the December fight that ended in a no contest. Ricker gave Broner a tough fight in front of Broner’s hometown fans in Cincinnati. The evening was a great start of the Boxing year R&R Promotions and Co –Sponsor Golden Boy Promotions.

Olympic Medalist Deontay Wilder will be fighting Richard Green Jr. in Saturday night’s main event in Cincinnati. The Reunion will bring back together the members of the 2008 Olympic Boxing Team. The Co Main Event will be a rematch from their December 27th match that resulted in a no contest ruling with Cincinnati fighter Adrien Broner (6-0) fighting Toledo’s Eric Ricker (1-1).

2008 Olympic Team Captain Rau’shee Warren will be fighting James Smith on the amateur card. Former Featherweight Champion and Olympic Boxer from Cleveland, Raynell Williams will face David Harris from Atlanta. Top Ranked Olympic Boxer from Las Vegas Michael Hunter will be fighting in a super heavyweight matchup. Other amateurs scheduled to fight will be Maria Norton, Petey Davis and Chaen (Mick) Chess.
Olympians to be featured on the professional side of "The Reunion" card will be Cincinnati's 2004 Olympian Dante Craig (17-8-1), Toledo's Olympian 2004 Devin Vargas (16-0) and Cleveland's Miguel Gonzalez (1-0). A Texas Slugfest

An all out war” the announcers yell at the end of round one, both boxers slugging away until the sound of the bell. The capacity crowd witnessed two warriors standing toe to toe in a Texas slugfest.
The Baby Bull Diaz looked in great form against the veteran fighter and former champion Juan Manuel Marquez. A flurry of combinations followed by powerful left hooks, the baby bull kept coming.
Diaz brought blood above the eye of Marquez at the end of the 5th. Marquez seemed to adjust to the aggression in the 8th and a powerful uppercut brought the blood to the face of the baby bull.
Diaz goes down in the 9th by a strong uppercut and makes it to his feet to continue for more abuse from Marquez until the final uppercut that lands the baby bull to the mat for good. Juan Manuel Marquez (54-1-36 KO’s) became the WBA/ WBO/ IBO Unified Lightweight Champion of the World.
